I am a professional illustrator from West/Central Pennsylvania. I am also an art educator, with experience teaching at the elementary level, secondary level, and as an adjunct professor at the college level.
Creating, developing, and working as an artist is the great passion of my life. I believe, like many artists, in the constant pursuit of personal development. From refining my artistic styles, to my conceptual approach to each project, I am continually challenging myself in regard to the creative process.
Inspired by childhood artistic influences like Saturday morning cartoons, and news-stand comics, my love for illustration started at an early age. Years later those influences, (and many more since discovered), still drive my ambitions.
I have shown my work in galleries and exhibitions throughout Pennsylvania and Ohio since 1995. I have been recognized and honored in juried shows, and have had work in print since 2005. I was a presenter at the 2006 ASCD National Conference, and have twice been named as a Keystone art educator.
I am a member of several local artist groups, including the Pittsburgh Society of Illustrators and The Allied Artists of Johnstown.
